I don’t read many blogs these days, pretty much just the ones on our blogroll, but yesterday I was reading Mckmama’s (Jennifer) blog and what she was saying was just such an echo of how I’ve been feeling lately….one day, I’m gonna miss this.
Though our little ones are far from grown this has really been on my heart lately – to be more “in the moment” with my children. It is so easy to get bogged down will all the things that try to steal our attention – cleaning, cooking, media, etc, etc, etc – and I never want to look back on my life one day wishing that I had spent more time kissing my baby’s toes, stroking my toddler’s hair, reading to my preschooler, playing games or talking with my older children. I am so blessed to be able to spend so much time with my children and I don’t want to waste that…
I’m off now to – snuggle, kiss, read, jump, sing, dance, play, chase, and fold laundry… LOL Bella’s favorite thing to do right now is fold laundry

I know I’ve said it before…enjoy every second, even though those seconds can be loud, hectic, and crazy – they will soon be tomorrow’s memories. And it happens so fast….
Cleaning and scrubbing can wait til tomorrow
For babies grow up, I’ve learned to my sorrow.
So quiet down cobwebs, dust go to sleep
I’m rocking my baby and babies don’t keep.
Take the time to smell them, touch them, hug them, and kiss them!
