A Little About Me

I am a 32 year old SAHM of 6 precious children.
Married to the love of my life, my first & forever love, Tom. We have been married 13 years now and have been together for 17. Tom is my support, my strength, my shoulder to cry on, my friend to laugh with and my friend to grow old with. Together we are the perfect team.

I am loud, a bit silly and love to laugh. I enjoy being with others but also need some quiet time to myself. I have really felt God leading me to get myself organized. If I can accomplish this I know we will all be better for it. This is my constant battle. Organization is something I have always wanted but it doesn’t come naturally to me…Martha Stewart I am not.

I am always looking for new recipes to try that are healthy and made from whole foods. This past year has been a big one for our family meals. I buy organic foods whenever we can and am constantly looking for healthy, chemical-free options for our food, body products and cleaners. If you ever have anything to share with me – please email me! I’d love to hear from you!

Another thing, I really like to use exclamation points when I type! Not really sure why, I sometimes even use more than one!! I think it’s my attempt to try to add my “animation” into my typing. Does it work?

I am hoping to get a personal blog on here so I can type just some of my daily random thoughts. I enjoy being able to get my thoughts out in writing. It’s just a matter of time… or lack thereof.

Books I’m Reading: My Bible, “Created to be His Helpmeet” by Debbie Pearl (yes, AGAIN!) and “Managers of Their Homes” & “Homeschooling with a Meek and Quiet Spirit” by Terri Maxwell

Color: Blue, any shade – though if I had to pick, my favorite shade of blue is a Navy Blue.

Flower: Sunflowers…just something about them – they are a “happy” flower

Interests: Photography, Babywearing, Homeschooling, Running, Sewing, Cooking, DigiScrap, Cloth Diapering, Natural Childbirth/Doula, Natural/Healthy Living, Knitting/Crochet

Favorite Bible Verse: Romans 8:28 “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.”

Uniquely Me:
- I love wearing “toe socks”
- dislike bad drivers
- sometimes snort when I laugh
- dislike cleaning the bathtub (but I do anyways! lol)
- love to sing
- have a terrible memory for names but rarely forget a face
- want to go to Italy
- really enjoy being a Mama
